The CaseStacks mobile app is currently in beta testing and is not yet publicly available.
The app covers most of what the website does.
How the App Is Organized
Four tabs run along the bottom of the screen:
- Home shows your recent activity, progress, badges, and CME summary.
- Courses lists the courses and collections available on your plan.
- Simulator is the Call Simulator, for on-call practice.
- Resources groups the AI tools, on-call references, anatomy modules, and the lo-fi player.
At the top right you'll find Search, the Voxel AI Chat button, and your profile picture. Tapping your picture opens Profile, which is where Saved Items, Badges, Notes, CME & Certificates, Terms Dictionary, Settings, Help Center, and Contact Us live.
Cases and Imaging
Cases open with an Images tab and a Write-Up tab, plus a Video Review tab when the case has a video. The DICOM viewer runs inside the Images tab with touch controls for scrolling the stack, adjusting window and level, zooming, and measuring. Its row of controls also holds Feedback, for reporting a problem with the case. See Using the DICOM Viewer for the gestures.
On the Write-Up tab, a text-size button in the header lets you make the reading text larger or smaller. You can mark a case complete and move between cases in a lesson.

Progress, Badges, and CME
The app tracks the same progress the website does: course progress, completed cases, badges, leaderboard position, earned CME credits, and issued certificates. Certificates can be shared using your device's share sheet.
What the App Does Not Have
- Subscriptions and billing. Buying, changing, or renewing a plan happens on casestacks.com.
- Claiming CME. Credits are tracked in the app but claimed on the website.
- The referral program.
- Keyboard shortcuts and the Pomodoro timer.
Settings
Profile, then Settings, holds theme, app language, write-up text size, push notifications, whether imaging may load over cellular data, haptics, viewer sensitivity, privacy controls, and account deletion.
