Demographics: 52 years old, Female
Indication: Fever, sepsis

Findings

  • Multiple bilateral pulmonary nodules/masses with the largest overlying the right hemidiaphragm
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette
  • Right IJ approach Port-A-Cath with tip projecting over the SVC
  • Asymmetric elevation of the right hemidiaphragm

Diagnosis

Metastatic colon cancer

Sample Report

Multiple bilateral pulmonary nodules/masses with the largest overlying the right hemidiaphragm, most suspicious for metastases. Recommend CT for further assessment. No evidence of pneumonia.
