Findings

  • 4 cm round mass-like opacity in the left lower lobe
  • Linear opacities in the right midlung
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette

Diagnosis

Adenocarcinoma

Sample Report

4 cm round mass-like opacity in the left lower lobe concerning for neoplasm. Recommend chest CT for further evaluation.

Linear opacities in the right midlung likely represent atelectasis or scarring.
