Indication: Left greater than right sensorineural hearing loss

Findings

  • LEFT
    • Normal appearance of the external ear
    • The incus appears fused to the lateral wall of the middle ear
    • Patulous vestibule with assimilation of the lateral semicircular canal. The posterior and superior semicircular canals are normally formed without dehiscence
    • Featureless, bulbous appearance of the cochlea with absent modiolus and internal partitioning
  • RIGHT

Diagnosis

Left cochlear incomplete partition type I (IP-I)
