Findings

  • T2 hyperintense mass involving both lateral ventricles and bridging the septum pellucidum measuring 6.5 x 5.6 x 4 cm
  • Avid corresponding restricted diffusion
  • Areas of wispy enhancement along the margins may relate to the mass or adjacent vascular structures without convincing internal enhancement
  • Mild corresponding mass effect on adjacent structures with scalloped appearance of the medial thalamic margins but no adjacent parenchymal edema
  • No hydrocephalus
