Findings

CT

  • Multiple hyperattenuating rounded lesions within the corpus callosum abutting the lateral ventricular margins and in the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle
  • Hyperattenuating soft tissue thickening along the superior aspect of the fourth ventricle
  • Adjacent parenchymal edema, particularly in the right frontal lobe
  • Mild enlargement of the lateral and third ventricles with convex margins of the third ventricle

MRI

  • Multiple homogeneously enhancing periventricular nodules with corresponding restricted diffusion, notably in the corpus callosum, along the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle, and along the superior aspect of the fourth ventricle
  • Adjacent vasogenic edema, particularly in the right frontal lobe
  • Mild enlargement of the lateral and third ventricles with convex margins of the third ventricle, concerning for hydrocephalus
