Findings
- Heterogeneously enhancing mass in the parasagittal high right frontal lobe measuring 5 x 3.8 x 4.5 cm
- Predominantly hyperintense T2 signal with a T2 hypointense component anteriorly and corresponding calcification
- No substantial corresponding restricted diffusion
- Extensive surrounding vasogenic edema in the right frontal and parietal lobes
- The mass contacts and may invade the superior sagittal sinus, which remains patent
- Corresponding local mass effect with 6 mm right-to-left midline shift and downward displacement of the lateral ventricles and corpus callosum
- No evidence of downward transtentorial herniation or hydrocephalus
