Findings

  • T1 hyperintense, T2 isointense rounded lesion along the superior margin of the pituitary gland measuring 9 x 8 x 6 mm
  • Internal rounded area of T2 signal hypointensity measuring 3 mm in diameter
  • No corresponding enhancement
  • The lesion bulges into the suprasellar cistern but does not clearly contact the optic chiasm
