- Abnormal T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity along the bilateral corticospinal tracts extending from the precentral gyri through the internal capsules and into the brainstem
- Confluent T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity in the bilateral parietal subcortical and deep white matter
Diagnóstico
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

Abnormal T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity along the bilateral corticospinal tracts extending from the precentral gyri through the internal capsules and into the brainstem, which raises concern for an upper motor neuron degenerative disease like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
No acute intracranial abnormality.
