Acute avulsion fracture of the right anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS).

No joint malalignment.

Discussion

  • Learn the major muscle and muscle group attachments on the anatomic pelvis (refer to first annotated image below)
  • Pelvic avulsion fractures can be very easy to miss, so it is important to look closely for them, particularly in young athletes
