Demographics: 11 years old, Female
Indication: Bilateral knee pain

Findings

  • No acute fracture or malalignment
  • No joint effusion in either knee
  • Cortically-based lucent lesion with a thin sclerotic rim in the medial aspect of the distal femoral metadiaphysis measuring 3.6 x 1.2 cm
  • Osteochondroma arising from the medial aspect of the distal femoral metaphysis measuring 3.7 x 1.3 cm

Diagnosis

Nonossifying fibroma (NOF)

Osteochondroma

Sample Report

No acute fracture or malalignment.

No joint effusion in either knee.

Cortically-based lucent lesion with a thin sclerotic rim in the medial aspect of the distal femoral metadiaphysis measuring 3.6 x 1.2 cm, consistent with a nonossifying fibroma.

Osteochondroma arising from the medial aspect of the distal femoral metaphysis measuring 3.7 x 1.3 cm.
