Diagnosis
Ewing sarcoma
Sample Report
Permeative lesion in the distal femoral metadiaphysis with cortical destruction, lamellated periosteal reaction, and soft tissue extension. While this could represent osteomyelitis in the correct clinical setting, an aggressive neoplasm such as osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, or lymphoma could also have this appearance. Recommend MRI or soft tissue sampling for further evaluation.
No acute fracture or malalignment.
