Findings
- Restricted diffusion in the anterior intraorbital right optic nerve with associated signal hyperintensity on STIR
- No abnormal enhancement
- No evidence of acute intracranial infarct, hemorrhage, mass effect, or hydrocephalus
- Areas of T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity in the bilateral caudate heads and bodies with patchy enhancement in both caudate heads
- Patchy T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensities in the bilateral subcortical and periventricular white matter
Diagnosis
Ischemic optic neuropathy
