- Small acute parenchymal hematoma in the inferomedial left frontal lobe with mild surrounding vasogenic edema
- Trace acute hemorrhage layering in the occipital horns of the right greater than left lateral ventricles
- Trace acute subarachnoid hemorrhage layering in the quadrigeminal plate cistern
- Thin acute subdural hematomas layering along the left cerebral convexity, interhemispheric falx, and left cerebellar tentorium
- Left parietal scalp contusion
Diagnosis
Multicompartment hemorrhage
Sample Report
Small acute parenchymal hematoma in the inferomedial left frontal lobe measuring approximately 7 x 3 x 7 mm with mild surrounding vasogenic edema. No significant associated mass effect or evidence of herniation.
Trace acute hemorrhage layering in the occipital horns of the right greater than left lateral ventricles and trace acute subarachnoid hemorrhage layering in the quadrigeminal plate cistern. No hydrocephalus.
Thin acute subdural hematomas layering along the left cerebral convexity, interhemispheric falx, and left cerebellar tentorium, measuring up to 2 mm in thickness.
Left parietal scalp contusion without subjacent calvarial fracture.
