Findings

Diagnosis

Bilateral atlanto-occipital subluxation

Epidural hematoma

Sample Report

Offset of the lateral masses of C1 with respect to the occipital condyles concerning for ligamentous injury. Recommend MRI for further evaluation.

Hyperattenuating material in the anterior aspect of the spinal canal at the foramen magnum extending inferiorly to the level of C2-C3 likely represents an epidural hematoma.

No significant mass effect on the cord. No acute cervical spine fracture.

Partially imaged acute fracture of the posterior left third rib.
