Demographics: 51 years old, Male
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Subtle T5 and T7 superior endplate irregularities with suggestion of adjacent trabecular impaction. No bony retropulsion
  • No traumatic malalignment. Mild anterolisthesis of T10 is favored degenerative
  • Findings likely related to portal hypertension including gastric varices and ascites

Diagnosis

Subtle compression fractures

Sample Report

Subtle T5 and T7 superior endplate deformities consistent with age-indeterminate but possibly acute compression fractures. No bony retropulsion. MRI could further assess acuity if clinically warranted.

No traumatic malalignment.
