Findings

  • Hyperattenuation within the superior sagittal sinus extending into adjacent cortical veins
  • No acute large vascular territory infarct or hemorrhage

Diagnosis

Dural venous sinus thrombosis

Sample Report

Hyperattenuation within the superior sagittal sinus extending into adjacent cortical veins concerning for venous sinus thrombosis. No evidence of acute large vascular territory infarct or hemorrhage. Recommend Brain MRI with and without contrast for further evaluation.
