Findings

  • Pneumatosis involving the descending and sigmoid colon, as well as possibly the ascending colon
  • No portal venous gas
  • No focal bowel dilation

Pneumatosis involving the descending and sigmoid colon, as well as possibly the ascending colon, which raises concern for necrotizing enterocolitis. No definite portal venous gas. Consider right side up lateral decubitus view to assess for free air.

No bowel obstruction.
