  • Fusiform aneurysmal dilation of the descending thoracic aorta, which measures up to 5 cm in diameter
  • Thoracic aortic atherosclerosis and tortuosity
  • No focal airspace disease or edema
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette

Diagnosis

Descending thoracic aortic aneurysm

Sample Report

Fusiform aneurysmal dilation of the descending thoracic aorta, which measures up to 5 cm in diameter. Recommend chest CTA for further assessment.

Otherwise, no evidence of acute cardiopulmonary disease.
