Indication: Concern for pneumonia

Findings

Chest

  • Mild dependent atelectasis/scarring
  • Subcentimeter calcified granulomas in the right middle and lower lobes
  • Mild paraseptal emphysema and upper lobe predominant subpleural bands
  • Calcified right hilar lymph nodes
  • Thoracic aortic atherosclerosis without aneurysm
  • Heavy coronary artery calcification

Upper abdomen

MSK

  • No acute findings

Diagnosis

Hepatocellular carcinoma

Sample Report

No evidence of pneumonia or pleural effusion.

Hypoattenuating mass in the hepatic dome. Recommend further evaluation with liver protocol CT or MRI.

Mild paraseptal emphysema with mild upper lobe predominant fibrosis.
