Findings

Chest radiograph

  • No evidence of acute cardiopulmonary disease

CT

Chest

  • Mild central bronchial wall thickening with scattered mucous plugging in subsegmental bronchi, particularly in the left lower lobe
  • Mild dependent atelectasis/scarring in the lower lobes
  • Marked decrease in anteroposterior caliber of the trachea and bilateral mainstem bronchi
  • Multiple mildly enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes

Upper abdomen

  • No acute findings

MSK

  • No acute findings

Diagnosis

Tracheobronchomalacia

Sample Report

Findings suggestive of infectious or inflammatory bronchitis. No evidence of pneumonia.

Tracheobronchomalacia.

Multiple mildly enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, which are nonspecific but likely reactive.
