Diagnosis

Angioinvasive aspergillosis

Sample Report

Mass-like areas of consolidation with groundglass halos in the left upper and lower lobes, which are concerning for atypical infection (particularly angioinvasive aspergillosis) in this patient with neutropenic fever.

Dependent groundglass opacities in the left lower lobe could represent pneumonia, aspiration, or hemorrhage.

Trace left pleural effusion.
