Findings

  • T1 hypointense, T2 hyperintense lesion along the medial floor of the right middle cranial fossa measuring 5.5 x 3 x 2.5 cm
  • Corresponding restricted diffusion
  • Heterogeneous internal FLAIR signal
  • No corresponding enhancement
  • The mass abuts and may communicate with the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle along its superior margin and bulges inferiorly into the right foramen ovale
  • Mild enlargement of the very anterior aspect of the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle, which may represent entrapment
  • Slight medialization of the right temporal uncus
