Findings
CT
- Masslike area of hypoattenuation along the posterior aspect of the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle
- No corresponding calcification
MRI
- Cystic mass in the posterior right temporal periventricular white matter measuring 2.5 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm
- Thick peripheral enhancement along its posterior margin
- No corresponding restricted diffusion
- Mild adjacent vasogenic edema
