Discussion
- Greenstick fractures occur in young children and are often diaphyseal
- The fracture occurs along the tensile side but does not extend to the compressive side of the bone
- While these are often managed conservatively, fractures with too much angulation (e.g. > 20 degrees) may require surgical management
