  • Acute comminuted distal clavicle fracture with 7 mm inferior displacement of the distal fracture fragment
  • Fracture extends into the acromioclavicular joint
  • Widening of the coracoclavicular distance, which measures 15 mm

Diagnosis

Clavicle fracture

No malalignment of the glenohumeral or acromioclavicular joints.

Widening of the coracoclavicular distance raises concern for injury to the coracoclavicular ligament.
