Findings

  • Expansile lucent lesion in the proximal humeral diaphysis measuring 3.3 x 1.7 cm which occupies nearly the entire diameter of the bone with endosteal scalloping but without pathological fracture, cortical destruction, or periosteal reaction

Diagnosis

Simple bone cyst (SBC)

Expansile lucent lesion in the proximal humeral diaphysis measuring 3.3 x 1.7 cm which occupies nearly the entire diameter of the bone with endosteal scalloping but without pathological fracture, cortical destruction, or periosteal reaction. Primary differential considerations are simple bone cyst and aneurysmal bone cyst.

No acute fracture or malalignment.
