Demographics: 13 years old, Female
Indication: Knee pain

Findings

  • No acute fracture or malalignment
  • No joint effusion
  • Cortical-based bubbly lucent lesion with a narrow zone of transition in the medial distal femoral metadiaphysis measuring up to 3 cm, which spans greater than 50% of the metadiaphyseal diameter on both frontal and lateral views and thins the overlying cortex

Diagnosis

Nonossifying fibroma (NOF)

Sample Report

No acute fracture or malalignment.

No joint effusion.

Cortical-based bubbly lucent lesion in the medial distal femoral metadiaphysis measuring up to 3 cm, which spans greater than 50% of the metadiaphyseal diameter on both frontal and lateral views and thins the overlying cortex. Findings are consistent with a nonossifying fibroma.
