Demographics: 13 years old, Male
Indication: Right leg injury

Findings

  • Acute minimally displaced, vertically-oriented fracture extending from the tibial spines through the proximal tibial physis, which is in continuity with a complete transverse fracture of the proximal tibial metaphysis
  • Moderate lipohemarthrosis

Diagnosis

Tibial plateau fracture (Schatzker VI)

Sample Report

Acute minimally displaced, vertically-oriented fracture extending from the tibial spines through the proximal tibial physis (Salter IV), which is in continuity with a complete transverse fracture of the proximal tibial metaphysis. No depression of the tibial plateaus.

Moderate lipohemarthrosis.

No joint malalignment.
