Findings
- Acute minimally depressed medial tibial plateau fracture with a split component extending alongside the lateral tibial spine
- Acute nondisplaced fibular head fracture
- Posterior subluxation of the tibia relative to the femur
- Moderate-sized lipohemarthrosis
- Soft tissue swelling overlying the anteromedial knee
Diagnosis
Medial tibial plateau fracture (Schatzker IV)
Posterior knee subluxation/dislocation
Sample Report
Acute minimally depressed medial tibial plateau fracture with a split component extending alongside the lateral tibial spine. Overlying soft tissue swelling.
Acute nondisplaced fibular head fracture.
Posterior subluxation of the tibia relative to the femur, which places the patient at risk for vascular injury in the popliteal fossa.
Moderate-sized lipohemarthrosis.
