Findings
- Acute avulsion fracture along the lateral tibial plateau
- Impaction fracture of the lateral femoral condyle
- Mild lateral patellar tilt
- Moderate-sized joint effusion
Diagnosis
ACL tear with Segond fracture and lateral femoral notch sign
Sample Report
Acute avulsion fracture along the lateral tibial plateau (Segond fracture) and impaction fracture of the lateral femoral condyle, both of which are associated with ACL tears. Recommend knee MRI for further evaluation.
Mild lateral patellar tilt.
Moderate-sized joint effusion.
