Findings

  • Acute distal radial metaphyseal fracture with approximately one half shaft width lateral displacement and one shaft width dorsal displacement. Apex medial and volar angulation
  • Widening of the distal radioulnar joint
  • Acute ulnar styloid fracture with the fracture fragment displaced to the radial margin of the ulna

Diagnosis

Galeazzi fracture/dislocation

Sample Report

Acute Galeazzi fracture/dislocation: Acute distal radial metaphyseal fracture with approximately one half shaft width lateral displacement and one shaft width dorsal displacement. Apex medial and volar angulation. Widening of the distal radioulnar joint concerning for ligamentous injury. Acute ulnar styloid fracture with the fracture fragment displaced to the radial margin of the ulna.
