Indication: Chest pain

Findings

  • No focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiothymic silhouette
  • Right paraspinal fusiform soft tissue density measuring 5 cm in craniocaudal dimension extending from T9-T10 through T12-L1

Diagnosis

Paraspinal mass (ganglioneuroma)

Sample Report

No focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax.

Normal size and configuration of the cardiothymic silhouette.

Right paraspinal fusiform soft tissue density measuring 5 cm in craniocaudal dimension extending from T9-T10 through T12-L1 concerning for a neoplasm. Recommend chest CT for further evaluation.
