Demographics: 71 years old, Female
Indication: Headache, history of lung cancer

Findings

  • No evidence of acute infarct, hemorrhage, mass effect, or hydrocephalus
  • No enhancing mass
  • Mild generalized cerebral volume loss
  • Patchy subcortical and periventricular T2/FLAIR hyperintensity
  • Large left frontal developmental venous anomaly
  • Left pseudophakia
  • Mascara-related artifact along both anterior globes

Diagnosis

Developmental venous anomaly (DVA)

Sample Report

No evidence of acute intracranial abnormality or intracranial metastatic disease.

Incidental large left frontal developmental venous anomaly.

Background of mild generalized cerebral volume loss and sequela of chronic small vessel disease.
