Findings

  • No acute intracranial abnormality
  • Peripherally calcified, low attenuation pineal lesion
  • Calcified intracranial atherosclerosis
  • Left maxillary and right frontal sinus polyps/mucous retention cysts

Diagnosis

Pineal lesion

Sample Report

No acute intracranial abnormality.

Peripherally calcified, low attenuation pineal lesion measuring 18 x 14 mm. Recommend nonemergent brain MRI with and without contrast for further evaluation.

Calcified intracranial atherosclerosis.

Left maxillary and right frontal sinus polyps/mucous retention cysts.
