Demographics: 67 years old, Female
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Acute minimally displaced fracture of the left sacral ala
  • Favored remote L2 superior endplate compression fracture with 10% height loss and no bony retropulsion
  • No traumatic malalignment. Lumbar levocurvature and minimal leftward translation of L4 on L5 are favored degenerative in etiology
  • Multilevel degenerative disc and facet disease contributing to moderate canal stenosis at L3-L4 and L4-L5

Diagnosis

Sacral fracture

Sample Report

Acute minimally displaced fracture of the left sacral ala.

Favored remote L2 superior endplate compression fracture with 10% height loss and no bony retropulsion.

No traumatic malalignment.
