Demographics: 57 years old, Male
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • No acute fracture or malalignment
  • Circumferential high attenuation in the epidural space extending inferiorly from C2 through the upper thoracic spine with associated moderate to severe canal narrowing
  • Multilevel cervical spondylosis, most pronounced from C5-C6 through C7-T1

Diagnosis

Epidural hematoma

Sample Report

No acute fracture or traumatic malalignment of the cervical spine.

Circumferential high attenuation in the epidural space extending inferiorly from C2 through the upper thoracic spine, consistent with an epidural hematoma. Associated moderate to severe canal narrowing. Consider MRI for further evaluation.
