Findings
- No acute fracture
- Superior displacement of the clavicle relative to the acromion with widening of the coracoclavicular distance to 30 mm. The distal clavicle tents the overlying skin
- 1.4 cm ossific body projects inferior to the coracoid
- Severe degenerative changes of the glenohumeral joint
- Ballistic fragments overlie the left chest
- Thoracic aortic atherosclerosis
Diagnosis
Grade V acromioclavicular (AC) separation
Sample Report
No acute fracture.
Superior displacement of the clavicle relative to the acromion with widening of the coracoclavicular distance to 30 mm, consistent with Grade V AC separation. The distal clavicle tents the overlying skin.
1.4 cm ossific body projects inferior to the coracoid, which may represent a loose body in the superior subscapular recess.
Severe degenerative changes of the glenohumeral joint.
Ballistic fragments overlie the left chest.
