Findings

Diagnosis

Vertical shear pelvic ring injury

Associated both column acetabular fracture

Sample Report

Vertical shear injury with superior translation of the right hemipelvis, diastasis of the pubic symphysis to 3.7 cm, and diastasis of the right greater than left sacroiliac joints.

Acute comminuted, mildly displaced both column left acetabular fracture with widening of the acetabulum and likely left hip dislocation.

1 cm ossific fragment adjacent to the right hemisacrum likely represents a displaced fracture fragment from the right iliac bone.

Acute displaced fractures of the right L3 and L4 transverse processes.

Multiple polygonal radiodensities overlie the right hemipelvis, concerning for retained foreign bodies (especially glass).
