Demographics: 66 years old, Male
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Diastasis of the pubic symphysis measuring 4.5 cm with 2 cm vertical offset
  • Diastasis of the anterior aspect of the right sacroiliac joint
  • Partially imaged bilateral total hip arthroplasties with mild lucency along the lateral hardware bone interface in the proximal right femur

Diagnosis

Unstable pelvic ring injury (APC II)

Sample Report

Unstable pelvic ring injury with diastasis of the pubic symphysis to 4.5 cm and diastasis of the anterior aspect of the right sacroiliac joint.

No acute fracture identified; however, recommend pelvic CT for further evaluation.

Partially imaged bilateral total hip arthroplasties with mild lucency along the lateral hardware bone interface in the proximal right femur concerning for loosening.
