Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Widening of the pubic symphysis to 1.3 cm
  • Mild diastasis of the left sacroiliac joint
  • Offset of multiple right sacral arches
  • Excreted contrast material in the urinary bladder, which is slightly displaced to the right

Diagnosis

Unstable pelvic ring injury (APC II)

Sample Report

Unstable pelvic ring injury with diastasis of the pubic symphysis and left sacroiliac joint (APC II).

Offset of multiple right sacral arches concerning for right sacral fracture.

Slight rightward displacement of the urinary bladder may relate to mass effect from a left pelvic hematoma.
