Findings

  • Acute avulsion fracture of the right lesser trochanter with 2.5 cm superior distraction
  • Multiple sclerotic lesions throughout the pelvic and bilateral femurs
  • Mild degenerative changes of the hips, sacroiliac joints, and of the partially imaged lower lumbar spine

Diagnosis

Pathologic lesser trochanter fracture

Sample Report

Acute avulsion fracture of the right lesser trochanter with 2.5 cm superior distraction, concerning for a pathologic fracture in this patient with multiple sclerotic lesions throughout the pelvic and bilateral femurs suspicious for osteoblastic metastatic disease.

Hips are located.

Mild degenerative changes of the hips, sacroiliac joints, and of the partially imaged lower lumbar spine.
