Diagnosis

Lateral femoral notch sign with ACL tear

Sample Report

Focal mild depression of the lateral femoral condylar notch, which raises concern for impaction fracture. This pattern is often seen with ACL tear. Consider MRI for further evaluation.

Otherwise, no acute fracture or malalignment.

No joint effusion.

Joint spaces are maintained.
