Findings
- Acute, nondisplaced periprosthetic distal femoral fracture
- Moderate lipohemarthrosis
- Soft tissue edema about the knee
- Lateral unicompartmental arthroplasty with intact hardware but lucency about the femoral hardware component
- Moderate medial and patellofemoral compartment degenerative changes
Diagnosis
Periprosthetic fracture of the distal femur
Sample Report
Acute, nondisplaced periprosthetic distal femoral fracture.
Lucency about the femoral component of lateral unicompartmental arthroplasty suggests osteolysis and may have predisposed to fracture.
Moderate lipohemarthrosis.
Soft tissue edema about the knee.
Moderate medial and patellofemoral compartment degenerative changes.
