Findings
- Acute distal radial diaphyseal fracture with approximately one shaft-width radial displacement, apex volar angulation, and 1.5 cm of override
- Dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint with volar displacement of the ulna, which protrudes through the skin
Diagnosis
Galeazzi fracture/dislocation
Sample Report
Acute open Galeazzi fracture/dislocation with a distal radial diaphyseal fracture and dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint with volar displacement of the ulna, which protrudes through the skin. The radial fracture demonstrates approximately one shaft-width radial displacement, apex volar angulation, and 1.5 cm of override.
Radiocarpal joint alignment is maintained.
