Findings

  • Acute distal radial diaphyseal fracture with approximately one shaft-width radial displacement, apex volar angulation, and 1.5 cm of override
  • Dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint with volar displacement of the ulna, which protrudes through the skin

Diagnosis

Galeazzi fracture/dislocation

Sample Report

Acute open Galeazzi fracture/dislocation with a distal radial diaphyseal fracture and dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint with volar displacement of the ulna, which protrudes through the skin. The radial fracture demonstrates approximately one shaft-width radial displacement, apex volar angulation, and 1.5 cm of override.

Radiocarpal joint alignment is maintained.
