Findings
- Acute mildly comminuted and displaced intraarticular fracture at the lateral base of the first metatarsal with medial and dorsal subluxation at the first TMT joint
- Acute minimally displaced fracture of the proximal second metatarsal shaft
- Lateral subluxation of the second metatarsal relative to the middle cuneiform
- Dorsal forefoot soft tissue swelling
- Punctate radiodensities projecting in the midfoot plantar soft tissues
Diagnosis
Divergent Lisfranc fracture/subluxation
Sample Report
Divergent Lisfranc fracture/subluxation with acute fractures at the lateral base of the first metatarsal and of the proximal second metatarsal shaft. Medial and dorsal subluxation at the first TMT joint and lateral subluxation at the second TMT joint. Consider CT to further assess for additional fractures.
Dorsal forefoot soft tissue swelling.
Punctate radiodensities projecting in the midfoot plantar soft tissues, which are concerning for foreign bodies.
