Findings

  • Rounded opacity in the medial left lung base
  • Lungs are otherwise clear
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Cardiopericardial silhouette at the upper limits of normal in size
  • Right IJ approach Port-A-Cath and left subclavian approach central venous catheter with tips projecting over the lower SVC

Diagnosis

Paraesophageal hernia

Sample Report

Rounded opacity in the medial left lung base, which could represent a hiatal hernia or mass. Consider chest CT for further characterization.

Otherwise, no evidence of acute cardiopulmonary disease.
