  • Bilateral perihilar ("batwing") and basilar predominant alveolar opacities
  • Small pleural effusions
  • Cardiopericardial silhouette is partially obscured, but is at least mildly enlarged

Diagnosis

Acute pulmonary edema (batwing pattern)

Sample Report

Mild cardiomegaly with bilateral perihilar alveolar edema and small pleural effusions, suggestive of acute congestive heart failure.
