Traumatic aortic injury

Mild widening of the superior mediastinum with poor definition of the aortic arch, which raises concern for traumatic aortic injury. Recommend correlation with chest CTA.

Hazy opacification throughout the left hemithorax, which likely represents a combination of layering pleural fluid and airspace opacification related to atelectasis, contusion, and/or aspiration.
