Findings

  • Large left pneumothorax
  • Partial collapse of the left upper and lower lobes
  • Mild rightward mediastinal shift with mild flattening of the left border of the cardiopericardial silhouette
  • Small biapical pleural blebs

Diagnosis

Spontaneous pneumothorax

Large left pneumothorax with partial left lung collapse and mild rightward mediastinal shift, raising concern for tension physiology.

Small biapical pleural blebs, which are the likely underlying etiology for the pneumothorax.
